The Garth School is a small, friendly education provider that caters for children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Staff and Governors have worked very hard in further developing the curriculum and working with parents to ensure that this special school in Lincolnshire is a happy and safe environment for pupils and students to learn. There is a common ethos shared between all staff and an agreement to work together to further develop opportunities for pupils to learn the skills needed for adult life.
Since 2007 there has been a continuous programme of improvements to the building and the classrooms. We have had a classroom, ICT suite and ball pool built in a new extension. A new food technology room was officially opened at our 40th anniversary celebration in September 2011 and in 2013 we had a new Hygiene Suite built. In 2014 the classroom doors will be widened to accomodate modern wheelchairs and walking aids.
